Política medioambiental

The delicate environmental situation that our planet is facing requires everyone a special commitment in all those operations that may compromise the future of our natural resources.

Enplast believes in the possibility of sustainable development and our commitment is specified in the following points:

  • • Start-up of new technologies that reduce the impact of our activity on the environment. Our entire fleet of machinery has been renewed to the latest generation of electric machines, that not only reduce oil and waste emissions to the environment, but also reduce energy consumption considerably.
  • • Application of reuse and recycling methods in the manufacture of all our products.
  • • Comprehensive control in monitoring all community and state regulations on waste, recycling, reuse and energy recovery.
  • • Collaboration in research projects for the development of a sustainable and circular economy.

In addition, as a benchmark in the plastic packaging sector, we participate in and promote multiple initiatives that enable a responsible and sustainable development of our activity. That make possible a responsible and sustainable development of our activity:

– OCS Programme, Zero Dross Loss Target

Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS) is a global plastics industry initiative, recognised by the Ministry of the Environment, which seeks to eliminate the release of plastic particles (pellets, flakes, dust) into the environment, which can occur unintentionally at any stage of the plastics value chain: production, handling, transport, processing and recycling.

– MORE Platform

A platform for monitoring the use of recycled materials promoted at European level by the Eupc

(European Plastics Converters) and supported by the Circular Plastics Alliance (CPA).

– Participation in the construction of a new SCRAP association for the management and selective and selective collection of industrial and commercial waste.

RENEWABLE ENERGIES

– Enplast promotes the use of renewable energies as part of its decarbonisation project.

As part of this strategy, Enplast has installed a large photovoltaic panel for self-consumption, a project financed by the European Union and Next Generation funds, as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
